One man has died following a hit-and-run Monday, according to police.
The Huntsville Police Department says Marquez Williams was attempting to cross Memorial Parkway on foot, outside of a crosswalk, when a vehicle struck him and left the scene.Â
Police say Williams was taken to Huntsville Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators are actively utilizing all resources to locate the person who left the scene, police say.
The incident occurred about 1:30 a.m. on Memorial Parkway just north of Mastin Lake Road.Â
