A Madison County School System employee was arrested by Madison County Sheriff's deputies and charged with numerous sex crimes against a juvenile on Saturday.
Authorities said it happened on April 20 around 11:45 p.m. after deputies conducted a traffic stop near Highway 72 and Shields Road.
Authorities pulled over Makayla Ann Anderton, 26. Officials say they found a 15-year-old inside the vehicle.Â
After further investigation by the Major Crimes Unit of the Madison County Sheriff's Office, Anderton was arrested on numerous sex crimes in relation to the minor. Officials say they believe the sexual assaults took place over the last two months.
Anderton is being held in the Madison County Jail on a $16,000 bond.
