Two people will face charges after a long pursuit in North Alabama on Tuesday.

Here are the details in the words of Priceville Police Chief Jerry Holmes. We’ll provide you more details as his department releases them:

“What began in Falkville as an attempt to cash a fraudulent check and a citizen’s vehicle being struck as the suspects fled, escalated into a vehicle pursuit through multiple jurisdictions.

“As the fleeing vehicle approached Priceville’s jurisdiction, PPD responded in an attempt to apprehend the subjects involved.

“The pursuit continued north on I-65 then went east on 565 where a PPD officer and a motorist were involved in an accident without serious injury.

“The suspects exited 565 at the Mooresville Road exit where they too were involved in an accident with a motorist near Mooresville Road and Old Mooresville Road with undisclosed injuries at the time of this press release.

“Both suspects fled on foot from the accident scene but were apprehended a short time later. This is an ongoing investigation. More information will be provided at a later time.”
