...Patchy Dense Fog possible in portions of the Tennessee Valley...

Patchy Dense Fog has developed across parts of the area with some
visibilities reduced to 1/4 of a mile or less in isolated areas.
This fog was more prevalent in and near sheltered valleys, open
fields, and near bodies of water.

Motorists are urged to drive with extreme caution, as visibilities
will vary significantly given the patchy nature of the fog. Use low
beams, reduce driving speed, and allow for plenty of room between you
and other vehicles.

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio, or a favorite local media outlet,
for further statements or updates from the National Weather Service
in Huntsville.

Connecting North Alabama: STARS Dancing for HEALS is Thursday

It’s almost time for STARS Dancing for HEALS, the premiere fundraising event for the local non-profit Health Establishments At Local Schools.

Ten participants will be competing for monetary votes when they take the stage to show off their dancing skills. 

All money raised by the stars will support the mission of HEALS, which is to provide free health care to children who attend Madison City, Madison County, and Huntsville City schools.

Â鶹app Morning Anchor Demetria Green will emcee the event, along with Â鶹app General Manager Mike Wright.

STARS Dancing for HEALS will take place Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in South Hall 2 of the Von Braun Center. Watch a livestream of the event
