Grief counselors spent Friday helping Hazel Green High School students mourning a ninth grade student's sudden death.
Hazel Green High School Principal Dr. Quinn Headen sent out a message Friday about Nowel Price's death.
Headen called Price a cherished part of the Trojan family who formed deep connections and friendships along the way.
"Our thoughts and prayers envelop him and his loved ones during this tremendously difficult time," Headen wrote.
He said the school system is ready to help support students during this period of grief.
