A Boaz man faces charges after the Geraldine Police Department responded to an alleged burglary at Bethel Baptist Church, at County Road 391 in DeKalb County.
After the case was forwarded to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, 30-year-old Cody Alan Ramsey was identified as a suspect.
Ramsey was arrested for burglary and theft of property, says DeKalb County deputies.
DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Weldon made this statement regarding the case: “Thanks to the quick response from all agencies involved, this criminal was apprehended. I could never express, to all the men and women in law enforcement, just how appreciative I am for the hard work and dedication they put into their jobs.â€
